Der er livstid olie på gearkassen (GA6HP26Z) og det er Shell M1375.4 som er påfyldt.

Der må ikke påfyldes anden olie!

BMW reservedels nummer 83.22.0.142.516 for 20 liter.

Der findes INGEN anden olie end den fra Shell/BMW.

Husk - at få nulstillet Adaptions værdierne hos mig eller BMW efterfølgende.- ellers vil/kan gearkassen måske skifte dårligere end før olieskiftet.

Diesel dyser:

Nedenstående viser den forskel der er i den indsprøjtede mængde brændstof. Stadig inde for det grønne område, med undtagelse af dyse 4 er lidt ved siden af. Motor kørt 142.000 KM

Man bør udskifte det filter som sidder på toppen af motoren til den nye model som er uden filtermateriale.

Indsugnings manifold:

BMW diesel'er kan have det problem, at de klapper som justere luftmængden/volumen kan gå i stykker og blive suget med ind i motoren. Det kan resultere i et motorhavari!

Derfor, udskift denne ved hver 150.000 KM eller efter behov... Man kan kun kontrollere tilstanden ved at afmontere indsugningen og visuelt kontrollere klapperne.

The adjustable swirl flaps are located in the tangential channels of the intake system and are opened and closed according to the operating status of the engine. The swirl flaps are closed under the following conditions:

bulletat low engine speeds and low injection volumes (map-controlled)
 

The swirl flaps generally remain open when

bulletthe coolant temperature < 15°C OR
 
bulletthe intake air temperature < 15°C
 

 

Function

The pressure converter connects the vacuum unit with the vacuum supply by means of hoses. When activated by the DDE control unit, the changeover valve switches vacuum to the vacuum unit. The vacuum unit actuates the control rod and the swirl flaps close. The control rod is up against the rear stop when the swirl flaps are open.

Troubleshooting

If a fault is detected in the control of the pressure converter, the following faults may be detected:

Effects of faults

If the swirl flaps stick in open position: Deterioration in exhaust gas characteristics in lower speed ranges otherwise no effect.

If the swirl flaps stick in closed position: Power loss of approx. 10% at higher engine speeds.

 

AGR-ventil:

AGR (EGR) ventilen benyttes til af føre en del af udstødningen ind i motoren igen og derved nedbringe mængden af skadelige stoffer i udstødningsgasserne.

 

 

Depending on the operating status, a certain quantity of exhaust gas is returned via the EGR valve into the exhaust tract in order to reduce pollutant emission.

Important: On the M67, two EGR valves are fitted and these are activated individually by the DDE control units. What is described below applies to both of the EGR valves. EGR valve 1 is located in the direction of travel on the left.

Function

The vacuum unit is connected to the vacuum supply via the pressure converter. The applies a variable vacuum to the vacuum unit according to the commands received from the DDE control unit. The DDE control unit controls the pressure converter by means of a square-wave signal with a duty factor (= variable pulse width) between 50% and 75%.

Control

The quantity of recirculated exhaust gas influences the mass of the fresh air drawn in: The more exhaust gas is recirculated, the less fresh air is drawn in. The mass of fresh air that passes through the engine at any point on the performance curve when the EGR is switched off is a known quantity. Thus the reduction in the mass of fresh air drawn in due to exhaust gas recirculation is a measure of the quantity of exhaust gas recirculated. During operation, the duty factor on the pressure converter is controlled in such a way that the specified fresh air mass for the operating point concerned is drawn in.

The DDE control unit calculates a specified fresh air mass figure for every operating point from the following variables:

Exhaust gas recirculation calibration (service function) also affects the specified figure for exhaust gas recirculation.

The causes of cutoff of the exhaust gas recirculation in operation can be read out of the control unit. The causes of the cutoff indicate whether EGR control is active or whether it has been deactivated due to one of the conditions listed below.

Exhaust gas recirculation is switched off when:

Monitoring

During controlled operation of the EGR, the control unit monitors the mass of the intake air drawn in. If the control unit detects a discrepancy between the specified and actual intake air mass that is outside the permissible limits, the following faults may be stored:

If the control unit detects a fault in the control of the pressure converter, the following faults may be stored:
